APPLICATION GUIDELINES
AWARD: 

The Dershowitz Center Artist offers, at no cost, studio accommodations and gallery space. Artists, who need additional funding for travel, materials, supplies, and/or at-home expenses, should apply to other sources for this support. 
ELIGIBILITY:

National and International artists across all mediums are encouraged to apply.
ADMISSIONS PANELS:

Invitations for residencies are extended based on evaluations made by panels consisting of artists and Dershowitz Center representatives. 
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 

First round of applications closed. Now accepting applications on a rolling basis.
PROCESSING FEE: 

There is no processing or other fee associated with this application or residency.
APPLICATION SUBMISSIONS: 

All applications should be submitted via e-mail to: Applications@DershowitzCenter.org
PROGRAM DATES: 

All programs begin on November 1, 2010 and last for either three, six or twelve months. Please indicate your preference on the application form.
NOTIFICATION: 

Applicants will be notified by November 1, 2010. Applicants will be notified by email. 
COLLABORATIONS: 

Artists who wish to apply as collaborators must each send individual application forms and support materials. Include a separate page describing the collaborative proposal. Please let us know if you still want to be considered even if your collaborator(s) is/are not accepted into the Program and also specify your work space needs.
PERFORMING ARTS APPLICANTS: 

Applicants may request to have an in-person interview/performance as part of their application.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST: 

Please make sure that you have included the following in your application materials and write the discipline you are applying for in the subject line of your application e-mail. The application form, resume and support materials must be in English.

1. Dershowitz Center Artist in Residency Application Form 
2. Resume/Curriculum Vitae
3. Either work Samples (10-20 images of your work created within the last three years).

*If submitting via e-mail, please limit image size to no more than 1mb.
*Performing artists can submit links to videos of their work.

An on-line portfolio or website with at least 10 images (flickr, personal blog, myspace or related sites are accepted)
4. Answers to application questions. 

5. Image list stating the title, date of completion, media, and brief description of all work samples. 
6. Statement of Support for Israel

You must adhere to the guidelines and work sample requirements for your application to be considered.
